My Choice of Genre for a Thrilling Short Film Opening

 The choice of genre is one of the most important decisions to make. It sets the tone for the story and determines how the audience will perceive it. After careful consideration, I have decided to craft a mystery short film opening that will captivate and intrigue the viewers.

Mystery is a genre that has been around for decades and has continued to enthrall audiences. It is a genre that is known for its suspense, twists and turns, and the ability to keep viewers guessing until the very end. For my short film opening, I wanted to create a sense of anticipation and intrigue right from the start. 

Along  side this I also wanted to challenge the conventions many movies display and that is to strictly stick to the genre setting e.g horror will always be horror with some thriller and jump scares but in my film I would like to add some aspects of comedy as well and psychological
elements
