TYPES OF SHOTS
Today we learned various shot sizes including:
1.Extreme Wide Shot (EWS):For city views.
2.Very Wide Shot (VWS):For street view.
3.Wide Shot( WS); while showing the character head to toe.
4.Establishing Shot(ES);normally used when setting up a location.
5.Mid Closeup(MCU); when you show character's above chest to head part.
6.Close up (CU); a bit closer than MCU showing neck head and a bit of shoulders of character.
7.Big close up (BCU); close up of face .
8. Extreme close up(ECU); just focusing on one part of body like eyes.
We further discussed different narration and planned how different camera shots would be used to shot a specific scene.
